    Japan Airlines

Japan Airlines has been a key supporter of cross-cultural educational initiatives at Showa Boston. Japan Airlines employees have spoken at Showa career fairs and business classes, mentored students interested in the travel industry and hosted shadowing opportunities for business students. In addition, Showa students and staff organized Japanese cultural workshops for JAL's American employees, culminating in a traditional tea ceremony demonstration in our authentic tea house and a Japanese maki-sushi dinner in the cafeteria.

    Japan Festival Boston

Since the inception of the Japanese Festival in Boston, Showa students have volunteered on many different levels, from being a part of the committee to manning booths on the day of the festival. As a result, students gained valuable opportunities to work with Boston's business people and meet Bostonians interested in Japan. At the same time, the festival benefitted from over 100 Japanese students helping with their mission to educate Bostonians about Japan.
